Check Engine Codes

I went to Autozone and they did a free diagnostic check on my car because my check engine light was on and the code was a 4 and they told me it's a false code and not to worry about it. I don't believe them. Does anyone know what code 4 is on a 99 TL?

It's gotta have more #s than that. (usually 4 or 5)

Yeah, I was right there when he did it and it just showed a 4 on the screen, no other #s.

It depends what kind of device he was using. If it show just 1 number, he's not using good device since it's just showing general area for the problem.

Why would you go to autozone to find out what is wrong with your engine? I don't know about you but I always go to the dealer to find out what's wrong when the "check engine" light comes on.
