Can you be more specific on the sound? Do you hear it while driving? when parked?

yeah sorry about that, I hear it when the car is parked, but when i start driving i can hear the ticking/chatting noise louder. mainly when accelerating, it tends to soften up or go away after driving for a while , say about 30mins or so. no check engine lights or anything pop up either. i've been having this issue for 6months now, and it has not gotten louder overtime or anything just concerned what could it be, and what it is possibly damaging?

Hey 2000tee.el, so if ya hear the "chat~tick".....when it's sitting parked with the motor running when it's cold, huh ??? Hmmmm, "tickety chat" !

Well, tomorrow morning when ya go out and start the car.....leave it in Park and lift the car's hood and the carefully listen for the specific sound that ya were hearing while sitting within the car previously. Try to isolate and pinpoint the source of the "chat~tick" noise.

Is it originating from the motor itself or perhaps an external component ? My guess is that it's coming from the driver's side cowl area just below the windshield at the firewall where the brake booster is. There's an emission control evap valve that tends to stick and make a noise similar to the "chat~tick" which ya previously described.

Sometimes the fuel injectors will tick, if it's more metallic in nature....then maybe the valves are tapping. So, ya gotta get a stethoscope if all else fails !!! Is your oil level running low ?
