what do you use to remove the #20 torx screw??? i got a #20 torx screwdriver but thers a little metal dot in the middle of the the screw that gets in the way of the screwdriver setting in to turn the screw. How did you guys remove it??

 

Torx 20 will not do the job. Its a 10 star with thats hollow in the middle. I had to buy a complete set for like $10 bucks at kragen just to get the torx.

 

It's not a standard Torx head, it is a Security Torx head

 

Safety Torx! Any store will have them!

any small set of torx bits should have it included- a pretty standard tool
in headlight mounting-especially gm cars
They did build these in america and may have used some transfer technology/parts off the locals~

the other option is use a dremel tool to cut a straight line for a screwdriver
If someone wants your bulbs-they take the whole headlight housing, its faster
