Pure and simple, does anyone know how to change the glove box light?

 

I changed mine - it's hard. Remove lots of screws near the light's "grill" and pull the "grill" away from the bulb and you can reach in there and switch it. Not necessary to take the glove box door off.

I changed mine and pulling off your glove box is a lot easier. There are clips on it that snap off. The bulb type is the same ones as the front lights and door lights (the ones that have a flat piece at the front that just slide in).

Also, it shows you in your car manual how to do it.

 

...forgot to mention, there are 2 or 3 screws that you need to take off first. You will see them running along the top when you open your glove box.

 

we have a light for our glovebox??? i've never seen it...

Maybe you need to change your's as well

 

looks like mine is burned out too !!!!!!!!! Car is brand new and never seen a light come on in there. Need to check that out !!!!

 

I believe it only goes on when your headlights are on.

 

It's a 168 type bulb

Its alot of trouble to change..

 

Correct. If you open it during the day, make sure your headlights are on or you won't see it.
