Changing Car Interior

Currently my car's interior is Taupe(beige) Exterior:Nighthawk...and I want to change the interior to black leather. Is it possible? Of course I would buy the seats salvage...but just want to know if its worth the effort?

you'd have to change literally everything. the headliner. the carpet. the seats. the dash. the door panels. the console. the floor mats. the rear window deck. def. not worth it imo.

I have never been fan of tan interior....I love my black.

Try Mr.Bean's method of painting/changing colors....Get a can of your favorite color paint and light up a big load of fireworks attached to the can...boom......good to go.

If it makes you feel any more confident, I am planning on putting TL-S seats into my TL, which has a grey interior. The only thing that is going to be a pain is getting the airbags, those are going to cost a pretty penny. I have also thought about reupholstering my seats in black, but that is just as much work really.

might as well get it custom.... unless you can get everything for cheap, its really not worth it... try to make it look nice with tan though, it might look nice...

if you find a totaled TL you can prob just swap them out before they cough it over to insurance. thats what my friend did with his legacy.

Don't mean to thread hijack but you should check out http://www.fivestarairbags.com/ They are very reasonable and have all kinds of airbags. A few years back, my Thunderbird was involved in an accident (I wasn't driving it) and both bags blew. I got both of them with the air bag module through these guys for $150 shipped!! (The Ford dealer wanted $1700 for just the airbags!) The Acura ones will most likely be more, but they'll be way cheaper than the dealer.

I looked at that but the shipping was going to be $500 to my house, which was just a little rich for my blood.
