Change User Profile #1 Code on NAV

I bought my car and it has an existing user profile code already entered on the navigation. Does anybody know how to reset this code? User profile 2 has no code in it as of yet but I can't access user profile 1 because I get incorrect code so I can't store any addresses under user profile 1. Please help.

I don't think he's looking for the the security code for the navigation system. Instead I think he's trying to reset the code protected "User Profile".

I'm also curious about how to do that.

You can find the original security codes underneath the fuse box. You can actually use this code to reset the user profile code.

This is exactly what i am trying to do. The previous owner used profile #1 now I can't store addresses under user profile #1 I can only store in user profile #2.

What is the procedure for resetting the code using the numbers in the fuse box?

Use the security code when the unit ask for the PIN. You should be able to change the user code from there.

This definitely works on 04 and up models, I would assume it works on a 2nd gen TL as well.
