Is it possible to edit the starry background picture that loads at startup? Which file is it on the Navi disk? I just received the updated DVD and this is the 1st time I'm thought of it.

 

probably is but will require a lot of R&D to figure it out....depending on how the disc loads it might not load an image if the hash of the new one doesn't match that of the old one....I don't know what kind of security they go through to prevent hacking it.

 

Good point. Guess I just need the navi-to-DVD hack installed if I want a different display while driving. Come on, bonus check!

 

that would be cool though ,if it be done. also, is there a way to change the back ground colors to a different color? is there a secret set up screen ?
