The Check Engine Light of my 02 TL is on for 1 week already .I got it scanned by a friend and come up with code P 1457 : Evap Emission Control Sys Leak detected
( Control Canister System )
Did someone have any kind of experience and fix with this CODE , please help ?
Should I bring it to the dealer ?

did u tighten ur gas cap? try tightening it, reset the battery and see if it comes up again

 

I did even change the gas cap but today the CEL is back !!!

 

By the way , anyone know where locate the Evaporate Canister and part # please .

 

i had/have (still have) the same problem... p1456 for me. iv heard that p1456 is a small leak and p1457 is big leak... not too sure...
