I had this problem too... I was worried I had to go back to dealer to fix it... but managed to fix it myself. What happend to your CD player is the rack got unalligned. In my case I saw the CD visibly but it wouldn't come out.

I took the CD i radomly grabbed and starting gently pushing... actually gently pressing the jammed cd in the tray and releasing a few times. There is no way you can physically remove it from the tray without the CD player ejecting it. after about less than 3 presses i heard the CD changer motor running again and close the loading slot and play the CD all over again. Total time was 2-3 minutes. I guess luck but maybe you can try also. I'm definitely doing the same thing again if it were to happen again. Good luck.

Yep, same problem and had it replaced under warranty. The service guy mentioned not using CD-Rs with labels because they are too thick and will jam the mechanism in the changer. Since then, I only use my old school audio CDs. If I got back to making my own mixes, then I'll leave out the label.

Me too - replaced under warranty. Got the CDs back about 2 months after they replaced the unit.

Yep..very common. I'm on my 3rd player. I cringe everytime I hit the eject button.

Well, this just happened to my player the other day although the little door was shut so I couldn't see the disc or anything.....also, it told me there was no # 4 disc, but I know for a fact that it was the # 4 disc that got jammed.

Anyways, called the dealer and my warranty expires a couple of months ago so it wouldn't be covered. booo....read up a bit more on this error and someone suggested banging on the side of the centre console (drivers side) and it worked!!

Banged on it a couple of times and the disc dislogded itself!!!
