CD R's and Laser
CD R's and Laser
Hi Guys,
I went to my Dealer today for some minor warranty work, and I had question re: my CD changer, and is it normal for it to switch CD's in the changer (I have a 03 TLS w/ 47K), and he said def do not play burned CDs. It'll work fine, but eventually it'll ruin the laser in the changer. Has anyone heard about this? I might ask for a 2nd opinion.
Thanks!

yes i think it does ruin the laser.... it'll work for a while then all of a sudden you can't eject your CD out and it won't play/read... after a few more tries a few hours later it came out. The first few times this had happened and i gave up and got myself a dvd player.
