CD Player not ejecting

I put a newly burnt cd in this morning and later on I went to eject it and it said 'Err' on the screen and I can hear the motor going, but no cd will come out....I even tried the old 'smack the side of the radio' trick but nothing happened. Good thing I have the CD Changer in the trunk otherwise I would go insane. ANyone else expereience this....I really don't wanna bring it to the dealer for this cause they just get on your case as how burnt cd's always have this problem, blah blah blah...

Just gets me annoyed.

Actually, I had a similar problem, it WASNT a burned CD, well i put it in, drove to work.. went to take it out and it came out, well after that i tried to put it back in, and you know how normally once the CD player senses the CD it sucks it in? well this time .. the motor did the opposite, instead of sucking it in, it tried spitting it out, but nothing was in there.. and everytime i tried to put it in the motor tried spitting it out, to fix it i just kind of messed with the ignition, turning it to I and waiting then turning it off and doing that over and over again.. i dunno if that fixed it or not, but its fixed, that probably doesn't help

Exclamation compressed air gun!

A, i have had this happen to me in my old 99 head unit. sometimes the disc gets misaligned and stuck, the motor runs but the disc doesn't eject. i used "dust off" compressed air gun . shot the air into the disc slot , this shook it loose and it ejected about 1/4 " and i just pulled it out. then i tried another disc with no problem!? it never happened again. also you might want to try a pair of taped needle nose or tweezers to try and catch the edge of the disc and try a manual pull? it may come right out? the cd was not burned , but i have used burnt cd's in that unit w/ no problems. good luck! what i did was..

i had a few cds get stuck. what i did was lifted open the flap, took a key and either pushed thed cd in, or pushed it down. this is assuming that when you lift the flap, you can see the cd stuck there. i did it a few times and the cd came rite out. just nudge it, do push it too hard. good luck
