Unhappy CD Player Not Ejecting

I have noticed lately that my CD player sometimes does not fully eject disks, both store CDs as well as the ones that I burn. To get the disk out when it only partially ejects (but not enough to grab) I have to use another CD to push the one in the slot back in and try to eject it again.

My guess is that I will have to bring it into the dealer, as the problem has been happening more frequently.

Have any of you experienced the same thing? The car is 10 months old!

Happens to me all the time to home made CD's, only once or twice with store bought. Smack the side of the center console a few time and it will come out enough for you to grab. As for the dealer, if you bring it there, good luck, they will want to see it happen so you better hope that its acting up.

Mine don't eject, either. I noticed that home burned with labels is a big problem. But regular CDs with no label won't come out either, most of the time. I think I've only completely changed out all the CDs 3 times. And the car is 1 year old.

I have a list of other stuff I'm going in with next week:
- CD player won't eject.
- windsheild gasket comming off
- transmission leak (oh no..)
- one tire never stays pumped up since new

Other than wigging out the slot-style changer, why?

At my 15,000 mile check-up, I complained about CD's not ejecting. I proved it by ejecting all 6 CD's--3 got stuck.
They changed out the player within an hour. The new CD player ejects the discs much further. Very nice.

My 15,000 mile check-up is not too far away so I will see if I can get them to swap the unit out.
