check the owner's manual holder. Your car should have come with a small leather binder, and in there, there should be a card that says Anti-Theft Radio Code. Enter those 5 digits and voila!!!

No. The dealer will need to look up the serial # and give you the code.

There will most likely be a service charge for them to look up your serial #. I think it runs for like $30-$60 range. RIP OFF in my opinion

just open the arm rest, pulle the passenger side piece of wood up and out, and right there in your face the serail number is on the radio, go to the dealer show them the radio and serial, so that they dont think the unit is stolen and they will give you the code.

Ok.

I don't have a card or anything since when I purchased the car it never came with a manual or card. I know what you are talking about forgot to mention it before. Sorry. I purchased my car from some small car used place over a year ago and I know they cannot help.

I went to a dealer at Paragon Acura but they would charge me $45 which is a total ripoff. What else can I do?

How can I get it for free?

I have heard some say the code is on the paperwork from service that you do from the dealer is that true?
I will look for it tonight.

Anyone else have suggestions.

Thanks

yes that is true. My dealer (Markham Acura) has my radio code in case they have to do some mechanical work on the car, and accidently or deliberately unplug something that requires the radio to have the code entered back into it. The only reason all my invoices have this radio code on it is because I supplied them with the car the first time I went for service there. You can still go ahead and check, but if you yourself have not been able to locate the code, Acura probably hasn't either unless they searched via your serial number or VIN.

Good luck with that.

take care.
