CD jammed in 6 disk :(
Any one have to deal with this?
I'm very handy, and am not affraid of taking the head unit out and getting in it to remove the stuck CD. But if it's a big hassle, I'll let the dealer handle it.
It's right in the middle somewhere too... As far as the unit is concerned slot 6 is empty. But it won't play any other disk with out coughing up an "ErEl" error.

Can you even see the [stuck] CD? Mine usually get stuck when they are trying to eject [unsuccessfully] and I can see it in the slot thru the open door. The only CDs that get stuck are the ones with labels that I applied. Usually I can insert a small, flat screwdriver and free it.

If you can see the disc in the opening but it just won't come out, you can take another disc and press its edge to the edge of the one jammed in the player and gently push backwards. This should push the disc in enough to force the motor to retry and eject it. As a last resort, you can also take a pair of needlenose pliers and reach in and grab the edge of the disc and *gently* try and pull it forward and out. WANRING: You may damage the disc doing this if the pliers scrape the outer edge of the disc. I'd consider this a last resort. You can also try pressing and holding the "eject" button until it displays "EJEC" on the display. This forces it to spit out all six discs. Again, I would only try this as a last resort if you think it is jammed internally. If you've tried everything else and are going to have to take it to the dealer anyway to fix it, it can't hurt to try a couple last-resort techniques.
