CD Changer in Trunk of 99 TL

I just bought my 99 TL yesterday. In the trunk there is an ACURA BRAND CD Changer, but I cant eject the magazine, and there is no power to it in the head unit. Any ideas on how to get it working? I cant even unscrew it to get started looking at it since the screws are so tight, and WD-40 did nothing to loosen them.

Also I know this has been discussed a lot before, but with gas prices where they are will using 87 hurt the engine, or just lose some performance?

Thanks a lot

87 will not harm the engine, though performance will suffer. I believe you have to hithte CD button once to use the in-dash CD, then hit it again to use the changer. Why didn't the seller go over this with you?

yeah, I have that same problem with my CD player. I used to be able to click the CD button twice, but now it won't switch over to my cd changer (it's the stock Acura one). And, I can't eject the magazine from the trunk and there's no power to it.

Have you done anything to be able to fix it? Or has it just started working again on its own?

Nope, it still doesn't work. I figured I'd ask a few people on this site before I took it into Acura.

Try unplugging it from the back of the radio and plugging it back in again. Maybe something got loose.

Mine didn't come with a CD changer, however, I would like to get one install. Any recommendations on what brand/model to get?

To unplug it from the back of the radio, does that mean that I would have to take the whole radio out??
