Recently had a Disc. jam coming out of my CD player. I carefully reached in with tweezers and pulled it out. Got the Error code error messages[er`, er2, etc] The door was also stuck open on the CD changer. I disconnected the radio fuse and tryed ejecting the rest of the CD's with no luck. kept getting the error codes. After a week with no CD player I decided to disconnect the battery. After re-entering the radio code and hitting the CD button/and eject button the rest of the CD's came out and now the changer works well again. Thought it was toast but without disconnecting the battery, it would not have reset and worked again. Hope this helps!

 

Thanks for the info. I have a 03 type s that I bought and there's 6 stuck in there. I refuse to take it to the dealer b/c I know they gonna charge me a arm and a leg to get them out.... I work at a dealer so I kinda figured it would be a hassel to get fixed!!!!!

 

It may come back, my car does this all the time. The player will work no worries, but I have a slide like a business card or index card in under the CD to motivate it to eject.

 

I just use another CD when the one in the player gets stuck. I have the problem mostly with self-burned CDs because I like to put labels on them.
