Carbon Fiber Lip Kit...

I just so happened to run into one of my good friends yesterday that does custom installs and setups for the DUB shows. I told him what I had in mind for the lip kit as to either wrap it or make a full mold out of it. He said he's down to do the work for free long as I can pay for materials. I said ok.

So now if anyone is interested in this, a full CF Lip Kit for their 2nd Gen TL 02-03, let me know. Also, I'm still looking for OEM side skirts and rear lip in any color so I can also make the molds for those also. The finish price is still to be determined.

i purchased a mercedes rear window spoiler hoping it would work on my TL, it has to much of a curve in it, and its about 4" to long.

i think i have found a car that has a similar width at the top of the rear windshield, and does not have a huge curve in its shape. so hopefully i will be able to share the find with everyone soon.

well yea CF is a big no no in my book on a black car but IMO cf does look good on certain colors as well as certain cars i really dont like the cf hoofs on the 99-01's because the grill is blah. but the 02-03 have the beefer front end and i think a agressive slam and oem kit with a cf hood would do the trick. especially when ppl are lookin through there rear view seenin that fly by with vtec screamin. it makes everybody think why am i still driving a pos? lol

haha alright alright. I'll put in a request for the the rear window spoiler, trunk, and hood (even though I think they have one already), but this will be cheaper... maybe. haha But does anyone have a rear window spoiler that I can use to make a mold from?

Ok so my friend gave me the go ahead on the CF Roof Spoiler and trunk. He doesn't really want to waste time on a hood since there is already one on the market for our cars, unless there ends up being a group buy and then it can be really cheap.

How about a front lip in C.F. with a little more LIP ? Maybe 1" deeper than oem.
I'm still interested in a whole set too.

i could care less if the roof spoiler is made out of carbon fiber, fiberglass or plastic would be good too.

if the guy is making them out of carbon fiber...ill buy one, if its more expensive than the sarona...ill buy the sarona.

any car can be fast with enough $ and time.

Not interested in any CF hoods, trunks, or lip kits (Out of place and tacky on this kind of car -- unless you have an aggressive theme going w/ the car... But more than likely 99% of people will just slap on CF crap to cars w/ Type S wheels and bangin coilover drops) but I would be interested in a CF "Sarona" type spoiler.

i doubt that would happen, he would need a bunch of deposits to make it worth his time, plus most carbon fiber lips are are around $300-$400.

i think the carbon roof spoiler allready has enough interest to make it worth the guys time. it all depends on how serious the guy is about making them.
