are you gonna take this info and try to get one made, or do you already have something lined up (ie, set up pricing)?

I don't see the point of putting a CF hood unless your car is NBP

i know youve been looking for one for a long time. i personally think it'll look hot, especially on a 99-01 silver, even white

with your dark tl it wont be much of an attention getter from the ricers, which is good

im turned off by the hood pins, and the fact that CF is supposedly somewhat weak material. screw the group buy thing and go out and have one custom made. it'll look good

yea.........custom cf hood quote: 1100-1200$ GOOD LORD!! haha

im sending a lot of e-mails to vis racing and im gonna call them.......they made one for the CL.........and the TLs would be so much easier cause it doesnt attach to the grill. so hopefully theyll do it

i found a company that has been good about producing cf parts for the tl (type s especially), but they are even willing to do a hood for me if i wanted. if there is enough interest, i can proably get this done for much less than that and i am not kidding. the reason it's pricey is because molds are not cheap to make and every piece requires a lot of labor...

Actually what would be cool is to paint the CF hood the same color as your body color as opposed to leaving it in it's normal looking state...I know you probably don't care what i think...just a thought.

dude.. just STFU! :p

what would be the freakin point of the CF hood if you paint it?? The reason ppl get a CF hood is to make sure others know that it is there..

I bet the CF hood is not that much lighter than the stock one..

I'd be interested in a CF hood...Let me know how much it is when the time comes and I'll start the saving process.

i talked to them yesterday, and they said they would consider this. realistically, they will need to sell at least a dozen or so hoods initially to make this work.
