car wouldnt go into 3rd gear
ok so last nite, i was driving and this hot girl in a civic rolls up next to me and looks at me. im goin about 45 in 3rd gear, so she downshifts and floors it and i go to 2nd at about 45-50mph. when i went to go into 3rd, the engine just kept reving high, and i kept pushing the shifter up to go into 3rd, it just stayed in 2nd. so for about another 10 seconds it finally goes into 4th... what ever happened to 3rd
anyways i threw it back in to D5 and it was fine. the whole way home it felt like the whole car was shaking between gears. damn hondas:flamer:

That had happen to me once..mine is can't shifr 2 to 3 in SS. when i put it in D5 it was fine...but it was like 2 or 3 month ago.
And now i find my slip on 2to3 on D5.

Yea, that happened to me a while ago... when I was using SS it just wouldn't upshift, so I put it in D4, and it went without a problem. I have a 99 w/ 76K on it, and I've never had a problem with the tranny, and neither did the previous owner.

The 99s aren't problematic in comparison to the models after the transmission change from 4 speed to 5 speed. I'm happy with my tranny although I wish it could be a little smoother in fully automatic mode.
I almost exclusively use the sportshift.
