Has anyone here had this problem. My battery went dead so I have to jump the car to start it. All of a sudden the engine just turns but wont start anymore. I have about 1/2 tank of gas. I notice the area where the miles are etc in the dash seems to flash while the engine turns but no spark. the fuel level does not move either.

Does this have to do with the factory security system. does anyone know how to reset it.?

Hmmm...wasn't your car flooded? That may be the cause.
