This is the car I gave up for my '02 NBP TL-S

I still miss her to this day, she was young and not as seasoned as my TL-S but she was beautiful. The thing I missed most was 35-40 MPG.

As you can see the TL-S was the inspiration for my old Civic.

Nice car, at least you didn't do anything crazy to it like most of the civics out there. I like the rims

and...trust me you will never go back. Once I got this TL I never went back to a tuner car. Nice sedan though!

My TL is going to have simple touches here and there.

On the Civic I had
- 20% tint all around
- 15" Civic Si alloy rims
- blacked out headlights
- red/clear taillights
- bone stock interior

Before buying the TL I had planned to put on the following:
- leather interior
- front and rear OEM lip kit
- OEM fog lights w/ painted housing to match
- OEM Si mesh style grille painted to match

But I was quick to post her on craigslist and sold within 1 week for $8000. She had 125k and was babied since new way back in 2000. Now I have a new more mature finely tuned love that already has most of what I wanted in a car standard. The only problem with her was a failing tranny but Acura Corp took care of that one for me with no questions asked. All I need is the 20% tint all around and under-body lip kit all around, new tires w/ alignment and maybe a 1-1 1/2 inch drop and she's complete.

That was a very nice Civic. I didn't see the round tails in your pic, but I've seen them all, and I happen to like the stockers better anyway. I have a special appreciation and fondness of well-built very efficient small cars, of which the Civic is arguably the best. I also happen to think that that generation Civic was the best out of all of them. Many might find this a little quirky, but my favorite model was the very efficient HX. BTW, I used to own a '99 Electron Blue Si.
