hey

as most of you know i totaled my 00 TL a couple weeks ago. im looking for a new used car right now n i came up with a couple cars in mind.

1) 02 TL type S no navi

2) 01 IS300

3) 02 RSX-S

4) Other- state other

need some feedback and advice for which car to get next. please vote by number.

I've got to ask you some questions first.

Do you value luxury or sporty ride and design?

Four doors better than 2?

Manual transmission or slushy?


If I was gonna replace a TL, I would wait for the new TSX, that would be my choice.

But I always land on the sporty, four door, manual side of those questions...

 

Sup Mike? Sorry to hear the car is totaled. I would go for another TL. AS I mentioned to you before, I do not care too much for the IS300, because it is too simple in my opinion, plus it is a rear-wheel drive. If we have another winter like this year, you'll suffer in the snow. So my vote is for the 02 TL-S. (1)

 

IS300--plenty of a/m parts available now that'll make you forget about the TL-S, get a 7yr/100k Lexus warranty and the price on a used one is very reasonable compared to new...

hey same situation as you just totalled the TL went ahead and ordered a G35 coupe! also i pmed you about your car and the HIDs

 

Is this a negative?

 

IS ... you get RWD, u can get it in manual tranny, sporty interior, and tons of aftermarket parts...

TL is nice but u get more sport in the IS

 

its a negative when you live where the snow has covered up your yard.

 

I'd go for the IS300. I love how that car looks. I think it looks way better than the TSX.

 

I would go to a TL-S in your situation or a G35 or possibly the new V6 accord.

I'm not a fan of the IS 300...

I would wait for the TSX and the new TL/TL-S (if time is not a problem).

BTW, I don't like the IS.

Sup mike, so they totaled it huh... The IS is the enemy, and I wnet to the track the other night and watched 2 of em run 15.6-15.7's. Used S4??? I don't know your price range but I like the TSX. Or just keep it in the familly and get the Type S, the most for your buck.

most likely going to get a used 02 SSM TL-S. a guy who works next door from my dads restarant wants to get ride of his TL-S to start a new business so its prob going to be mine within 2 weeks or so if eveyrthing goes well. Down side now is worrying about the tranny... nooo. pob wont be to bad.

Nice! Hope it works out for ya, And as for keepin up, I think you will pass me. Once I put the rims on its gonna be a hell of a lot slower. I got my racing out of my system for a while last week at the track. Ran a 14.8, you'll have to start to beat on yours as soon as you get it.
