Can't buy A-Spec Spoiler

Bad news people....one of our fellows tl member told me that we cannot purchase any a-spec parts in Canada. The dealership in Canada can only purchase replacement parts which mean they need a vin # of the TL they are buying replacement part for...that sucks...

bummer

sounds like bull, there's a guy on acworld who's running a group buy.

i spoke to a few canadian dealerships a couple months ago, they never said anything about that problem either, just that they couldn't get them until the a-spec was released.

on the other hand, does kind of make sense though. how many a-specs could they be making? not like they would make a hell of a lot of extra parts that werent designed to go into the actual cars for sale

Looks like all those who would have bought the real A-spec TL-S should consider having the special spoiler securely chained up. Doesn't it sound like a rerun of the HID theft situation.

Find an A-spec owner in Canada. Have him buy one for you, and tell the dealership it got stolen. VIN will check out, and if the dealership really wanted to confirm that it was stolen, take it off before you take the car to the dealership to show them.

Done and done.

I can get a clone one, but it does not have the side indicator light, u have to buy that yourself...

the one I can get, it put a Carbon Fiber piece there instead of the light... looks pretty goood I say.... if you are in Vancouver.
let me know, I can show you wat it looks like, I have one in stock.

From previous posts and posts on other Acura forums, it seems as if some dealers have quoted a price of $400 for the spoilers and $80 for the sills.
