Canadian A-spec owners help please!
Can someone who owns or has access to the TL Type-S A-SPEC please take some good pictures of the front and rear doorsills. I heard they fit and look real nice. Any help appreciated, close ups prefered. THANKS!

Hi, I have A-spec and from my point of view, it is same door seal as Type-S's.
But Different Writing. Instead of Type-S, It says maybe Acura? I am not quite sure what door seal is but since i am away from my car I cannot post the picture, but as soon as get my camera, Ill post the pictures.

I think the door sill for the A-spec says "A-spec" so there would be no point to get it for a non-A-spec.
There is a group buy for door sills and I think they can be engraved to say anything you want (could be wrong). But if you were to order the A-spec sills from Acura you would probably pay more money for the A-spec ones than getting custom ones done by an aftermarket company...
once sc354 is online you'll have a def. answer. He knows the A-spec pretty anally.. good chance he would know off the top of his head.. ("anally" is not an insult - Jeff - just meant it as extremly thrurough
)

The AMERICAN one has none, the a-apec has acura ones that fit perfect. I had the other ones but they were only stick on and didn't fit "perfect".

sorry boyz...I had a lot of shit to do today...to clear this all up.
The a-spec door sills say "ACURA" on them. It's not that hard to get parts for the a-spec, so long as you can somehow get your hands on an a-spec VIN number, and you're willing to pay almost anything (the dealers love to hose you on a-spec parts).
Residualfreedom- I know what you meant dude...Thanks for thinking I know so much about the a-spec!!! There is still plenty I need to learn about the a-spec, but I think I have a pretty good base knowledge about it already...how did the wax turn out today Pat???
I'm gonna be cleaning my car on friday if the weather holds up, so I should have a gleaming car on sunday...I just wish I had that ding on the driver door fixed already...oh well, you can never have a perfect car

I wouldn't mind grabbing four as well. I'll talk to jeff and we'll work out something.. But there is a door sill group buy on right now if I'm not mistaken.. I don't think they are from acura so they might not fit as well but I'm sure they won't be cheezy quality.

bent: use good doublesided tape. Those that came with the sills are not strong enough
fade: I sealed my in clear plastic before I installed them. That should help slow the fading

I have asked for Canadian help on these doorsills for a year now. Why will no one help us get these parts? I know they are available??? Please any a-spec owner post some pics of the front and rear doorsills that say acura. Thanks for any help!!!

No I did not get the jacket.... I bought my car used from Acura. I cant imagine the cost of it. My shifter ball had been replaced by one from a Type S. I bought the A-Spec type...cost me 240$ including taxes!!!
