Canadian Car Transmission Warranty

Canadian Car Transmission Warranty
Sorry guys I tried a search and after reading pages of posts it seems that most the information that I found was based on US cars.
My question is I was driving my 2000 TL-P to work today and the D5 light started flashing, the car seems to drive fine as far as shifting between low-high gears but from what I've read the flashing D5 light is suppose to be the kiss of death to my tranny.
Since I just bought the car 2 months ago, what is the "Canadian" warranty extension on the transmission ?? I've read here and there it's 7yr / 160 Kilometers is this correct.
I'd like to know before I call my local Acura dealership and have them screw me around...
Thanks

**UPDATE**
Thanks to everyone that replied, I called the dealership and told them what was happening and as spytter stated it was a sensor for which they did charge me $250 for.
They indicated that the sensor isn't covered under the extended warranty. Also on the work order it indicated that they installed the "oil jet" and on the next line item it said that "photo's" were taken of the condition of the tranny.
Before picking up the car the service advisor said that if the "D5" light started to flash again that the tranny would have to be changed. Although I wasn't having any shifting issues even with the "D5" light flashing I almost wished that they would have changed the tranny anyways.
Let's see how the car runs, so far it seems fairly normal. I wonder if the failing sensor had something to do with the poor gas mileage I've been getting.
All in all the Acura dealership in Markham was fairly responsive and the service received was above average (well to be honest better than I was expecting).
The car was fixed and ready for pick up with in a few hours, they also provided me with a car (1.8 EL) while my car was being fixed, and they even went as far as washing my car although I would have preferred that they not do that. I'm sure the car jockey's didn't put in the same amount of "care" in washing my car as I would and for the sake of additional swirl marks in the paint I would have preferred that it wasn't washed (that's just me).
Thanks for everyone's help once again
