uh, not good. Looks liked a leased/loaner vehicle. Looks like it had 4-5 owners, not sure though.

A lien just means that the person took out a loan for the car. There is nothing wrong with having past liens, as long as they have been paid off. If the owner has the title, they have been paid off. It seems to me that there has indeed been 3 owners. It seems that originally, someone leased the car then returned it to the dealer. The dealer then sent it to an auction to sell and it has had 2 owners after that. The report doesn't seem terrible to me. The most important thing is the mechanical condition of the car. Take it to your mechanic or an Acura dealer to have them check it out. It will probably cost between $100-$150 at the dealer, but that may save you $11,500.

How many miles does it have right now? Just make sure there are no liens left on it. A car inspection, like pavan said, is highly recommended for a 3 owner + leased vehicle.

This is a very similar report to mine Chris. It was originally bought at a dealer as a lease in L.A. Then returned and auctioned off. The guy who owns the lot I bought it from bought the car from the auction and I bought it from him. I know lease returns can be driven hard, but my car checked out mechanically sound.

So definitely have it checked out. Go for it if it checks out.
