Post Can I take a stock CL-S...

If I have a 50 shot NOS w/ my mods???
How about a slightly modded CL-S, say with I/H/E?
I'm getting a NOS wet system installed tommorow and was just wondering.

Should be equal, depends on who launches better.

CLpower (1st Gen CL 3.0) has a 50 shot and an intake. When I had just headers i beat him 9 out of 10 races. I know you can take a stock CL/TL-S. A CL/TL-s with i/h would be a good race.
Why did you go w/a wet system??

Most stores recommended I get a wet system for my TL. Not sure why though. I'll prob. run it at 50 shot at first. Then I might progressively bump it to 70-75 max.

wet gives more hp to the wheels....although dry is safer for the engine...you'll burn plugs much more often...

I've actually heard the opposite. I've heard that wet is safer.

If you can keep from spinning through first gear, a 50 shot will allow you to easily take a stock CL-S.

Shouldn't be a problem... But remember that you will run out of NOS after a few races...

I'm also getting the Wet system in a few weeks (75 shot). My mechanic told me it is much safer to mix the NOS directly into the fuel rather than your throttle body.

OH BTW!!!
YOU AND YOUR 50 SHOT SHOULD BLOW THE PANTS OFF ANY ACURA 3.2 ENGINE... TYPE S or NOT, H/I/E or noT!

LAST MONTH I RACED A CL-S. 0-30 he got a half a car lead on me. 30-130mph I was not gaining or losing on him. He barely beat me by half a car. LOLOLOL AND ALL I HAVE IS AEM COLD AIR INTAKE!

Put it this way... Go find yourself a nice CAMARO SUPERSPORT or S2000 to race and it should be NO PROBLEM FOR YOU TO BEAT THEM!

Yup. I raced a CL-S yesterday. He had 1 other person in his car and I had 3 people in mine. I raced him on the highway. Even with my extra weight I still beat him. He even went and asked me what type of car I had. hehe.

That might do it, but what are you going to do when your engine blows and he wants a rematch?
