Caliper size?

Caliper size?
Ok so I was thinking about buying Brembo/Willwood calipers instead of getting the whole kit. Since I have stock size rotors, I would need to find those calipers in the same size. I tried searching for a specific size I could look for so I could find those calipers to buy. Would this work?If I bought the Brembo/Willwood calipers for our year car, or same size, would it just be bolt on? I could use the same pads and everything else?
I guess you could say I'm "ballin on a budget" but hey, it's better than paying thousands of dollars to make sure I stop for a red light lol, it's not like I had a track car. It's just for show.
Anyways, would this work? If yes, where could I find out the size of the calipers? Or where could I just buy the calipers alone for our cars?
Thanx in advance.

If you want to get some better stopping power without breaking the bank, upgrade your calipers to Legend Type II 2-piston calipers or NSX 2-piston calipers. They will work with your rotors. And then paint them to get whatever look you want.

Cant go wrong with the '95 Legend LS Coupe calipers- Dual pistons give major increase in effective pad pressure and response to input
Your choice of brand, slotted rotors with matched pads. Stops awesome AND painted to your choice of color~
My brackets and calipers are Duplicolor Black-
looks sweeeeeeeeet- call them my baby Bimbo's

2nd this, i just need it to get warmer here in NE so i can do this conversion, the parts have been sitting in my room since DEC. Also instead of paint, get the calipers powdercoated, looks better, will last a lot longer too.

I just wanted to know if those aftermarket stuff would be a direct bolt on like you guys are saying of the NSX or Legend calipers. My breaks are good, they are good enough for me right now, I just wanted to kick it up a notch on the looks of the breaks, instead of just a paint job.
I'll look into the Legend calipers, thanx.

Im sorry you didnt like it, But you asked if they would fit, so i gave the answer.. Also the point behind a BBK isnt just the caliper being bigger and to look pretty, its also in the rotor. The rotors are larger thickness and dia than stock.

Oh i read it just fine. No one makes a "stock" sized caliper upgrade for our cars. Better?
To me (and others) there is no point. If your going to do it you should get a better rotor as well (since our cars are prone to warp the stock sized rotor)

Thanks.
edit: I bought some performance rotors and pads, so the caliper wouldn't look out of place as if it were stock rotors. I only said I have stock size rotors, not stock rotors. I don't see the big deal.

the BBK rotora kit has rotors 1 inch diameter larger than the stock TL
It also requires the correct-larger rim size to have enough caliper clearance inside the rim.
The Legend calipers cost the same as TL calipers, $150 for a pair of rebuilts, direct bolt up except left goes on right. As noted above- just search for postings by me, 01tl4tl and the subject Legend Calipers.
They are visually different to the trained eye- due to the dual pistons on one side and 3 stabilizing fingers on the outboard side.
Note: Many of us gen2 are above 70-80k miles and more. The rubber oring inside the master cylinder and calipers only last so long. If you drive in stop and go traffic- expect lower lifespan.
O ring caliper overhaul kits are cheap and worth doing when you upgrade pads and rotors- you will be asking even more of the system than before, as you enjoy the newfound braking power.

Rotora drilled slotted and Hawk pro pads.
I never wanted a BBK, or a BBK caliper, just something aftermarket of the same size as the OEM caliper. I'll probably get the NSX calipers, don't they say "acura" on them? You have any more info on those as well? I'll look for more of your stuff in a bit.

Any parts stores. You need/want the ones recommended above. not all legend calipers are the same. I posted in a thread with what years and the sizes. do a search for legend calipers and my name

Because we run these on the opposite side/direction of the car from their original use, having piston size as close together as possible is best for this useage.
Its about weight transfer under braking and equalized pressure across the pad face and some other techo bs I can make up if you really want me to.
The 1995 Legend LS Coupe calipers are a KNOWN fit and work awesome.
I can brake insanely late and still have room to spare, without even trying hard.
SS Brake lines, Stainless Steel, ie; Teflon line covered in braided steel for protection
will give much improved pedal feel and constant pressure when hot.
As for your pads- are the HPS? thats High Performance Street and a good choice.
Hawk Pro/ Hawk BLUE, are race track type use and dont get hot enough to work under average street conditions.

I got mine from Kragen by looking at their website. On the 3rd/last page of calipers for that application, looking up Acura Legend 1995 LS-C
it gets to the Raybestos Pro Grade rebuilts.
You can order them online or got to the real store and ask them to price match their website. Store computer said 100 each, online price 72.99 plus refundable 30 core charge on each.
FRC10627 and FRC10628 are the part numbers. It comes with a mounting bracket. We dont use the bracket, but do take the metal spring clips off of it and use on the TL bracket. Always a good idea to change those springy things that hold the pad ends, and its cheaper to buy them as part of a complete unit than at the dealer seperately
There are other brands that are just as good- you have to be careful ordering as some of the Legends had single caliper piston- not what you want.
If you can find real pics of the caliper being sold under a part number and its dual piston, then let the rest of us know.
As far as I know, everyone so far has followed what I used, and I went on fsttyms1 advice.
What more could you ask for?
The pic on kragen is a generic- and its actually a rear caliper in the pic lol
