Caliper piston help

Hey I recently purchased new pads and rotors so to save myself the labor fees I figured I would do it myself . I'm having a lot of trouble with the back piston, I tried pushing it in didn't work, I did some reading found out I had to screw it in, and I went to buy the cube tool and there is no grooves inside or anywhere on the piston. It's a 2002 TLS. Can someone help me out and tell me what is going wrong ? Is it possible the person before me put on a different caliper ? Any advice or tips will be very much appreciated thanks.

Take off the cap to master cylinder and make sure the brake line isn't kinked or twisted. It should just push in with a C clamp or pistol compression tool.

it doesnt screw in
it pushes in like the others
rears are known to go bad as old fluid cruds them up

try opening the bleeder valve 1/4 turn and piston will push right in if all is good inside
Plan on flushing brake fluid with any brake work

Your rear ones needed replacing? I was fine with just doing my fronts recently. They do a majority of the braking anyway, no?

Yeah i heard that it most likely went bad, i tried but it wouldnt budge, also while it was on a jack i turned the wheel and pressed on the brakes to see if it would stop the tire and it didnt, i believe the caliper is completely shot. Any one know of any spot where i can get a good price on a oem caliper?
