About 5hp, if you get the CAI, you can always take the 2nd pipe away, and turn it into the short ram. That is how mine is right now because my bi-pass valve broke and I took it off, with the lower pipe, and I am just leaving it like that till my new valve comes in...
BTW here is a picture of the bi-pass valve AEM had on display at the SEMA show

Man, Snook, how did your valve break off? I talked to the Acura service director here locally and I expressed concerns about my CAI since my fog holes are totally cut out, now exposing the CAI air filter. He told me not to worry about hydrolock becuase rain would not be enough water to cause. He stated that I would have literally suck in more than a cup of water at once, and even then he said the engine would shut down before actually blowing a hole. How true is this guys? Is he just trying to get my engine f*cked up so I can go and end up paying him thousands of $'s?

Unhappy

i'm still undecided if i should order the by-pass valve for the AEM CAI too. It's an extra 50 bones which is a considerable amount. I am also questioning if the by-pass valve could resist the CAI. I am thinking that if the by-pass valve is a filter or something than it would restrict the intake thus the AEM CAI would have less of an increase in hp and it might as well just be better to get the short ram. I need help
