Very close to ordering AEM CAI. Just one question. Has anyone ever taken theres off because it was too loud? I HATE the ricey sound of civics/integras. Just dont want to pay $300 and then not like it. I love the VTEC sound after 5000 rpm. Is it just a more intensified version of that? I know that in the lower rpm range it is virtually silent. Thanks for the help!

 

From the cars I have heard with aftermarket intakes, it doesnt sound bad, just deeper. Many of those damn civics with the fartpipes sound like weed wackers because they take out the cats. I personally would go with a Comptech Icebox, though.
