CAI or Icebox

Hi, I am looking to make my 1999 TL a more sporty car. Should I go with the AEM V2 (or any other CAI) or the CT Icebox? I'm looking for something with a nice HP boost, a boost in the engine loudness, and something that will last for a while. Could you please let me know your opinions? Thanks!

the CT icebox has a pretty close to stock sound. the AEM CAI is pretty loud and i would presumethe V2 is significantly louder. im actually goin to by one soon myself

I just installed the Ice Box on my car and I am pleased with the results. I have pretty good torque off the line now, but traffic seems to move really slow.

How does it sound now? Is it more of a racing sound or a classy sound?

I had the resonator removed before I got the Ice box and the sound now at wot has the same intensity, just a bit muffled. At lower rpms the sound is a bit deeper. Also, that UFO humming sound at idle is gone now. The new TL-S Ice box is shipping with a resonator on it. Then when you shut the engine of it makes a sound like when someone gets punched in the stomach.
