Cabin Filter Element

Is there a cabin filter element and where is it located , and is it easy to change , and how to do it?

yes, very easy, its behind the glove box. you remove teh 2 clips thet stop it in its full open position, remove the one screw for the little hydrolic arm on the right side and drop teh glove box down. then remove teh screws that hold the glove box on. then you will see a area with a panel with a screw. this is the hardest part of them all. you will need to cut it with a utility knife (being careful you need to reuse it) then after removed there is a blsck piece of plastic(about a inch wide or so and like 8 inches tall. remove that and you will see the filters. make note of which diriction they come out because you will need to put the new filters in the same way. then just reverse teh procedure. (except the piece of plastic you cut out will now be screwed inplace)

it sounds hard but its a 15min job. go to your local parts store and you should be able to find teh filters for about 20-25 bucks for the both of them. you may need to asc for teh filters for the 99-02 accord

has anyone used the filters with the charcoal. they are about the same price. I was wonering what the difference is.
