Cabin Filter

Can someone tell me what the cabin A/C filter part number is? The one that sits behind the glove compartment. I tried doing a search but the result came back blank. Search function down? Thanks.

Not sure the part number, you can just walk into a Kragen or autozoen and they regularly stock them.

If you're looking to replace them, I would suggest a charcoal version. They sell on ebay $20 delivered. Many people here are using them and find they offer better filtering.

Check acuraoemparts.com for the exact part.

yeah,,, support your local parts place!!, or they wont be there when you need seafoam!

I use the Bosch cabin filter `with micro allergen protection` for 17 bucks-
comes with 2 filters in the box, because they sit side by side in a tray that pulls out.

Charcoal added filters are good if you live near a dairy- as an example of the smells it cuts down entering the cabin

Best cheap DIY yet- 20 bucks and you breathe better-
all the air for the ac and heat goes from the vent inlet at windshield and into this filter, then onto the vents. When you run recirc guess what filter is in use?
Have the shop vac handy to remove leaves and cobwebs from the inlet and heater area while its apart.

When done- open the engine air filter box- lift to remove filter and vac the leaves and crud from the lower inlet box.

Note- use rubber pad when working on knees removing glovebox and filter cover- you need to cut the plastic panel on one side- 3 tabs- and then bend it back and forth to break the other tabs- see DIY for all the details-
it sounds much harder than it really is, a magnetic tip screwdriver is your buddy on the re-install of glovebox. or a left handed friend~
