Which would you choose?
one with VIN in bad tranny range with Warranty Extension

or

one with newer VIN (outside documented VIN range) with regular 4yr 50,000 mile warranty.

Did they really fix the tranny problem on later 2003 builds?

don worry to much about the tranny issue as long as you still got warrenty.
i would choose the newer vin with regular warrenty since its covered till 100k.

 

I dont think the newer 2003's are covered under the 100k Tranny Warranty. Just double check on that, cuz I know mine and my fiance's aren't and we just purchased it. Both 2003's.

 

I called Acura to verify that it was covered and they said yes, and they sould send the letter if I bought the car. It also shows up in the recall tab on the acura owner site when I plug in the VIN.
