Will the WW body kit still fit on the TL-S .

haha, thats funny, you bought your mods before you even bought the car Gotta love that!

Most of the mods on the TL can fit on the TL-S perfectly or with slight modifications. If you can wait and dont need the car right a way, I'd say WAIT!!!!

What mods did you get already?

The Type S motor doesn't really matter. Someone race a CLP against a CLS.... the CLS didn't even win by a car length. I dont think its worth 2000 for .04 of a second.
Here's are the reasons you should wait for the "new model" TL:
-if you like the new front end (headlights, grill, bumper(with fogs ) or should i say driving lights?
-if MEMORY SEAT is a must!! (which i wish i had) i hate it when people drive my car and mess up my comfortable position i have for my seats.
-and get the TLS if you are not into modding. Cuz if you were into modding, you could change wheels, suspension, and performance parts)
Well....... this is my .02 cents

PhiTL .......I bought WW Full Kit , H&R spring , Mugen exhaust , Yokohama Advan Model 5 ( 19 X 8 ) + 43 . Pioneer TV & DVD changer .

I was talking to the Salesman , He sort of told me not to buy the 01 TL . Honda accounce the 01 will only be out for few month , then the 02 replace .

I will be leaving HK at the end of yr , I only concern the resale value at the end , since the TL-S is out .
Anyone know when will the Normal new front TL will be out , because this is what I should use to compare ......right ?

OK .......this are my choice .

1. 01 TL & put all my mod to it .
2. wait for the 02 TL-S .
3. Yellow Lexus IS 300 / Bronze 19 model 5
4. S2000 . ( not sure if 19 will fit )

but remember I am leaving at the end of yr .
Should I wait for another 2 month ?
I've already been waiting for the 01 , for almost 2 month already ....hahaha

Why buy if your going to sell it at end of year? Just go down and do a 1 year lease on an M3 or something.

lease a car for the year.. and you can save tons of money.. sell the mods too
then you got enuff money to buy another car in HK... what about an EVO VII or a skyline?

I'd lease a hot car for a year if you are just going to pickup and leave in a year anyways. While I am personally biased and would highly recommend an S2000 (yes, 19" rims will fit!), I'd first see if they will discount the '01 TL when the '02 hits the market. That may end up taking car of the resale issue. If so, you can put all your mods on, and the car will defintely be personalized to your taste.
Otherwise, Lease an S2000 or M3 and just return it at the end of the year.

I 've talk to the Acura , they say the New front normal TL will be available at the same time too . I guess I will wait & buy the TL / not TL-S since I will mod anyway.

I don't need to buy a fast car because I had an NSX-T now anyway .

Thanks people for the suggestion .
