Red face buy it or not?

one dealer has a car in stock, and it is maybe already sit in the lobby for several mouths, say 10/2000. I may be able to get a good price on it. Is there anything wrong for me to buy it? What is the big difference between this car and a new producted car? Does it really matters?

By the way if I put deposite I should use credit card or check, or doesn't matter.

Some quick response is highly appreciated. I need to make the decision very quickly.

Thanks a lot.

it dosent matter if it was just in the showroom as long as you know that people were probably in it and touching it.
it dosent matter if you put it on the credit card or not.

Is it a color combo you like?

When I ordered my TL I put $100 down with a check - which they gave back to me when I went to pick up/buy the TL.

Use a credit card that gives frequent flyers mileage or other incentives. I got $50 back for using mine.

Plus you accrue interest from the "deposit" you place in your savings account. Not much, but it helps.

If it was sitting outside for months, I wouldn't buy it. People have been in and out of that car touching it, playing with it and what not. I like my cars to be "cherry".

It's up to you if you want to buy it or not. If it's a really good deal and you've checked the car out really well, go for it.

Was this a test drive car? How many miles are on it?

whether or not someone bought it or its been sitting out for months in the snow, its inevitable that the car is gonna get some snow on it...doesnt really matter, as long as you see that there is no big scratches or damage to the body, the car should be fine...nothing a good wax job cant handle....go rip the dealer off and get yourself that nice TL if its the color you like....laters

Thanks a lot for the information, and one thing is sure that if this car is a test drive car I will definitely not buy it. Compare to $30K, several hundred discount is nothing. We all knows that how we test drive a car if we still treat it as a car.

Just play hard ball with the dealer and see how much they will throw in for free. Greenwich Acura where I bought my car gives free oil changes for life. See if you can do something like that too. They also threw in the floormats, splash guards and wheel locks for free. Not much I know, but make sure you get as much as you can out of the dealer.
