buy 2 ton or 3 ton Jack Stands?

buy 2 ton or 3 ton Jack Stands?
With all the different ones available, which ones do we need to raise and support our cars? Our car is about 3.5 tons, so do we need jack stands to support that weight or will 2 ton jack stands be sufficient?

2 ton will be more than Fine. Our car is only 3800 lbs so thats less than 2 tons. and also that weight is spread out ofer the whole area of the car and never all in 1 spot (ie on the jackstand) only part of that weight is on it at any given time
