button to open trunk lid not working

button to open trunk lid not working
Hey guys,

Just noticed that the button on driver's door to open the trunk lid is not working on my 2nd gen.

any ideas what it could be? Any pointers to start looking for the problem?

check the glove box there is a switch in there to the left that kills the trunk switch on the door

Passenger fuse block- fuse 12 (20A)
Trunk lid actuator itself
Harness issue
Multiplex control unit (Passenger)
Ground (G601 or G551)

oops...Trunk release switch

maybe that is it... i changed the air filter some time back. and might have turned the switch off. will check n post here.
