I haven't seen the how the fogs light up in a TLS on the road but in a CLS the fogs are pathetic. I've seen a CLS in my rearview mirror and thought those fogs were parking lights; the light output was so low.

Thanks, for the information. I think this car was made for me.

I currently have a 98 Accord with an aftermarket HID retro fit kit. I was always worried what I would do with the kit when I got a new car.

Now, I know the HID 9006 kit will work in the fog lights !!!

On the TL-S fogs:

They're OK -- frankly, they're better on the Benz. The Xenon lowbeams definitely illuminate the road better than the halogens -- but the fogs could definitely stand some improvement. They illuminate the road nearest the front of the car and the curbs a little better. I imagine they're best for inclement weather. The fogs on the GS300/430 series are KICK ASS!

What do i need to do to change my tl-s foglights to hid foglights???

TL-S owners, are you all satisfied with the wide coverage of the HID + the fog lights yet? I've been checking in the owner's manual, and we're so lucky, the TL-S uses 9005 as highbeams and 9006 bulbs for fog lights. Both of those are a very common types of bulbs, so those of you who are into changing those yellow-ish halogen bulbs into those superwhite ones, here's FYI. =)
