Post Build Date

Can anyone tell me if the build date is listed on the sticker on the door jam? The reason I ask is when I go to purchase a TL-S soon, since the dealership has multiple cars of the same color, the one I'd like to test drive/purchase would have been built on a Tues-Thurs.

Thanks.

The sticker inside the door will only tell you the month the car was built. The dealer can tell you the day the car was released, which is supposed to be the day it was completed. The dealer tells me it takes four days to build the TL from start to finish.

Along the same lines-does anyone know what the ninth digit of serial number means?

All are 19UUA56 then 6,7,8,or 9 for TL, TLNav,TLS, TLSNav. then the number 0 through 9 or X followed by 2A and six digit serial #.

The same color cars seem to have different ninth digits, any ideas?

BTW these can be seen when searching dealer inventories on the web, no need to walk the lot!

The 9th digit is a "check digit" and has nothing to do with the car's color, options, etc.
