This bug decided to move in with me...

A long time, like last summer, a bug somehow crawled into my headlight housing and made home in the turn signal area. (Sealed housing, my ass.)

It's been in there for a while, because, well, I've been pretty lazy about it. But lately, it's been really bothering me to look at it, and I have a show coming up this weekend so I thought it was finally time.

The culprit --

So much freakin' work to get one little bug out.

Ahhh, mi eye!!

Gotcha, ya little bastard!!

Judo-CHOP!!

Hence the reason I've been putting it off for the past 10 months.

Why go through all that trouble when you could have just used a chopstick with some tape on the end and put it through the turn signal bulb opening? Then you could have removed him, or her, months ago.

Don't tell me you don't have any chopsticks either!

But, I guess we wouldn't have this entertaining thread to read.

Ya know, that's still the damnedest thing. I looked over the housing and I just couldn't see how the bug could've gotten in there!! Maybe Honda engineers built in a little back door I can't find... it's quite puzzling.

I'd rather take off the bumper than uninstall the wheel well cover, reach into the fender, and do everything by feel.

A couple of hours, but that was including the time it took to scrape all the old tape off the fog light HID ballast and the mounting point. It somehow fell off because the body shop didn't do a good job of mounting it.

It wasn't a roach... kind of looks like one, but this one is much smaller and flies around. Has a black back with red spots. Every summer, we get a million of them flying around here. They freak me out. In fact, the day that bug got into the housing, I dented my rear quarter panel because I was carrying a basket and one of those bugs flew into my face. I turned real quick to avoid it and the basket hit the car. So that's twice I got owned by these nasty bugs.

As you should. Didn't mean to imply you're of the 'ghey', unless you were carrying the basket like this...
