buffers?

just wondering if anyone is using those orbital buffers to wax and polish their cars. it's not that i'm lazy, but last time it took me a whole afternoon to wax my car.....yes i know i'm slow. well i was looking on ebay and they only cost like 20 bucks. just wondering if anyone has them and what you thought of them.

buffers actually do a better job at removing swirls and superficial scratches, but you have to know how to control/use the buffer. the biggest problem is burning the paint if you leae the buffer in one place for too long of a time.

I have the Porter Cable 7424. I haven't had a chance to use it., it's a little too cold right now.

Rule of thumb:
Orbitals do not burn the paint
Rotary buffers do, if misused
