Unhappy Bubbled one of my sidewalls

I hit a pothole in our neighborhood REALLY hard and it bubbled the side of my tire. I put two more tires on order already (I prefer to replace tires in pairs) and will have the dealership put them on as part of my 30k service.

How would I know if my rim was bent? It's a stock TL-S rim.

those michelins were known to bubble on the sidewall pretty easily, I think its defect in the tire personally, 150+ tires shouldnt bubble that easily, because the profile is not that low for it too happen that easily.

Sorry, I guess I shoulod have mentioned that these were my Sumitomo HTR+'s.

I can't really fault the tire. I hit that pothole pretty hard.

this happened to me on my tl-s rims on my sumi's too this past winter. Hit a big ass pothole and a bubble formed. Of course i only had to replace one tire, and the rim was fine. The tl-s rims may be on the heavy side, but they are strong as hell. When the dealer put on the new tire, he should be able to see if it bent or not. Sometime you can tell by the naked eye, and sometimes you can't. Good luck regardless!

Just my 2 cents but if the rim is bent it will be very hard to get it balanced, since the center of mass won't be in the center anymore.
