if you have the rotor off the car/axle, you simply knock the broken stud inward and then pull them out of the circular openings. the reverse is to replace and use can use a lugnut to properly seat the new stud.

the tl doesnt have circular openings on the knuckle.
if its the front, the knuckle has to come off and the hub pressed out.

if its the rear the hub just pulls out

man i try to press the hub out but its connected to the main bearing and chances are pulling it can damage the man bearing so i ghetto it and dremel out the old studs, and modify the new studs to fit, POS old studs, i never had so many problems with my tl all at once.....i need to vent guys so here are my problems for the WEEKEND!!!

rattling exhaust (put back resonator dunno why perhaps ****ed up air flow now)
new wheels came in but broke stud off when taking off old lugs cus stoopid ass person impact it in wrong and fused it together....so while taking it off it broke....
then while i was driving on 4 lugs...for some reason the other 4 decided to get ****ed up when i was trying to fix the one bad one.... so now i have 5 bad studs!!! ahhh, on top of that CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON reads p0141 malfunction o2 sensor...**** headers been giving me so much trouble leaky install, no gaskets, ****ed up jet hot coating, now a fried o2 sensor....i dunnno but all i know is that this car is going back to stock as soon as possible...
