I was curious about the brembo's that are one the 04 TL

i doubt they'll be cheaper unless you get it off a wreck and the improvment wont be as great as an aftermarket kit....assuming 04 tl brakes would fit at all

get some metal master brakes. I got them and they are great. You can feel the car stops much better

Why do you want brakes that as per MT during the Car of the Year test took 141' from 60 to stop? The TLS ones take 128' from 60 to stop. Do we need to do the math? Regardless of whatever people said about fading, you do not brake so much during real (normal) driving that they are going to fade.
You can get other aftermarket very good kits that will improve over the OEMs and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get them.
