Question Which Break Pads to buy?

I thought that AEM pads are good but I cant find them anywhere for 2002 model. Does somebody know where I could get those or are there any other good pads for a reasonable price???

I like Akebono pads. These pads seem to last a long time and I also have great stopping power too

Yup, I totally agree. Do a search on Endless and look up for my post on this topic. If you got any more questions, just holler.

I wouldn't buy mettalic pads for the TL, with the stock brakes (1-piston caliper, ****ty rotors) I found the wagner pads 100% organic pads work very well with our cars and our stock brakes or slightly modified. The are pretty much dust free, quiet, good breaking.

Don't tell me, others are better like AEM or axxis or endless, in overall, unless you have modified brakes, because I had axxis and endless on my car at one time.

Plus you could find wagner pads just about anywhere and they are fairly cheap.

you could buy them at your local store like:

Bitium,
I resurfaced rotors and installed Axxis Metal Master front brake pads few days ago, did you had any problem with stock rotors?

I like the Porterfield R4S pads. If you don't want to go that route, Stock pads are a good choice if you're not an aggressive driver. The new compound seems to work better than the original stock pads.

They warped again in like 10k miles. No proplems just lots of dust and noise. It was not worth it to upgrade to those pads in my opinion.

you had dust problems with metal masters?? I thought they were fairly clean. But yah, they would warp stock rotors like crazy. I think the stock rotors just suck. I now have Endless and those race concept rotors and it works well.

I'd still say the Axis metal masters were good and really dust free in my experience.
