does anyone think that the tl brakes brake too late? after i drove my sis' 528i, the brake response was so much better than my tl. anyway, just wondering

Not at all. I think this is because the TL brakes do not use brake boosts like they do with the Mercedes I test drove when I was comparing cars. I find that I like the progressive feel of the brakes more than you would with a brake boost type setup. Difference in opinion I guess...but I cant imagine any type of real race car to have brake boost.

well to be honest our stock brake sucks......... and Bimmer and most Euripean cars got very good brakes..

i agree.. our brakes do suck.. need to get the big brake kit and stainless steel brake line..

That's why I changed my brake pads to Endless. Definitely better braking and feel than stock brakes. Highly recommend them, but they are pricey though.
