2003 Acura TL Type S bought in May 2002. Very sad too see the quality of Honda deterioate. I have a Honda for 10 years now and this is the worst. At 19,000 miles just had warranty repair on the following:
Replace rotors
Replace brake pads
Fix squeaky sun roof
Still working on the transmission which has been a problem since I"ve bought the car.

I had the sunroof fixed and that hasn't been a problem since. I had that problem with my 4-Runner as well so I'm going to say Honda isn't the only one with the problem. As for the brakes and transmission, The tranny has held up...so far. *knock on wood*!
I have an appointment for my rotors and brakes on the 23rd of July. The guy was telling me that he's not sure if it's under warranty. WTF, he better believe it will be. Does anyone know what the milage/years for the brakes is? I have about 26,600 on my 2002 (bought in 2001) I also have the extended warrenty was 8 yrs 100,000 miles. I should be covered right?
