brake swap from third gen tl type s to second gen tl type s

hey does anyone know if you can swap brake set (brake caliper & brake rotor) from a third gen Type S (08) to a second gen Type S (03), and if you can are there any custome parts that are required.

you want to put brembo fronts on a gen 2--is that it?
wont work- need new knuckles and other parts
brake lines may not be long enough to reach different location on gen3 calipers

ck the excelerate for a list

Do you think it is just a better idea to go with a heeltoe rotor/pad or xlr8 equ. rather than using the brembo gen 2 tl compatible kit witch replaces everything/use oem rotors?

I dont think im going to do the rear setup, just re do the front

My rotors are vibrating at 80-90 km/h (50+mph) at 75000km with stock rotors so eventualy they are going to get worse with the constant rain where i live.

all depends on how you brake--on what setup you need
I was not aware of a kit, so thats a new one on me!

great rotors and pads- with legend 2 piston calipers is a `good` upgrade on the `budget` thinking side,,those calipers are 75 dollars each!

If you attend track days on a weekly basis- then go for a brembo 4 piston or wilwood 6 piston caliper and larger rotors in front

the rear needs nothing fancy, just good parts

the oe rotors suck compared to the aftermarket choices, which should fix the brake shake prob
